Community Building
One of the primary ways to build a strong community is to organize community activities that focus on socializing, education, and skills development. Collaborations that promote a shared purpose and shared experience help neighbors to get to know each other, break down cultural barriers, and encourage local pride. The CCSCDC works with local partners to increase the number of community focused activities in the area, such as: farmer’s markets, cultural festivals, supporting small businesses, yoga in the park, walking tours, and community clean-ups.
This is your community, your neighborhood. you too can engage in activities and together we can build a stronger community. Get involved!
